BLODIAAAH!!

DISCLAIMER: I wish that Capcom can take this moveset into consideration. I give no claim over Capcom's use of this moveset, and I give the permission to Capcom to use or modify this moveset.

Jin Saotome

First Appearance: Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness
Stamina: 1,050,000

The hot-blooded mecha pilot (specifically the BX-02 Blodia) dressed in full white with long flowing headband. Expect lots of screaming and flaming effects.

Gameplay-wise, he's kinda slow in his speed and attacks, but they sure pack a punch. However, I slightly modified his MvC2 moveset a bit, by integrating Blodia's own moves from Cyberbots to Jin himself (meaning that he essentially mimics Blodia's attacks in some way or another). As such, he has more option on playstyles.

Suggestions are welcome.

NORMAL MOVES

  • Standing: L – a short punch, M – a kick to the chest, H – a strong backhand punch (his crouching H-punch from MvC2) which knocks the enemy away a bit, S – a flaming uppercut.
  • Crouching: L – a short punch, M – a long kick, H – a flaming drilling kick.
  • Aerial: L – a straight kick, M – a backhand punch, H – an upward kick, S – a hammering punch.

COMMAND NORMALS

  • F + H – he does a strong straight punch. Has a good range and quick startup, good for punishing the opponent's mistakes.
  • DF + M – he does a hammering punch that hits OTG.
  • DF + H – he does a jumping upwards kick 2 times. Can be used as a (limited) quick anti-air attack.
  • F, F, F + H – he does double jumping kick forward, the second kick wallbounces.
  • D + H in midair – a downwards flaming drilling kick that does multiple hits. Can groundbounce if hits airborne opponent.

SPECIALS

  • S + Atk – Needle Press: He jumps forward and then he stomps on the enemy 3 times, then he jumps away. Will hit the opponent everywhere they are, but only works on a grounded opponent. Taken from Blodia's own attack.
  • QCF + Atk – Iron Nail: He does a dashing punch to the chest which can momentarily stun the opponent. L version dashes the longest and has quickest startup, but just staggers, M version dashes moderately far and has moderate startup, but can crumple the opponent, and H version dashes the shortest and has slowest startup, but can dizzy the opponent. Taken from Blodia's move from Tech Romancer (technically it's the Blodia II Custom and not the Cyberbots version; normally, Blodia uses electrically-charged blades on its hands to do it.)
  • DP + Atk – Full Metal Charge: He does a diagonal upward shoulder charge. The Atk button used determines how high he goes. Taken from Blodia's own attack.
  • RDP + (Mash) Atk – Gatling Rod: He does a punch to the stomach multiple times with his right hand (think Dee Jay's Machine Gun Upper, except that this is not an upper). Mash Atk for more hits. L makes him stand there stationarily, M makes him moves forward a bit, H makes him moves forward faster. Taken from Blodia's own attack (except that Blodia uses multiple blades on its hand to do it).
  • HCB + Atk – Saotome Crush: He grabs the opponent, then he grinds them against the floor, wall and ceiling as he dashes on them (normally counter-clockwise if facing right), before he slams them against the wall, causing wallbounce. L has short range, H makes him dash at 1/2 screen range, M is somewhere in between.
  • B (charge), F + Atk – Saotome Thypoon: He spins so fast, creating a flaming tornado while dashing forward, dealing multiple hits. Can juggle the opponent. The Atk button used determines how far he goes.
  • D (charge), U + Atk – Saotome Dynamite: He bursts out his clothes, creating a fiery "explosion" that completely covers him (which means that he can attack the enemy behind him as well) and knocks the enemy high, but he's left open afterward.
  • Hold Taunt, the Mash Atk – Saotome Fire: He rubs his back with his towel as a taunt. The more you mash the Atk button, the more red he becomes, and then he shoots out a stream of fire at 30 degree angle upward. A hilarious yet powerful move. Can be easily avoided, though. You can still use assists to cover him while charging up this move.

HYPERS

  • QCF + 2 Atk – Blodia Punch: He and his Blodia does a long punch with their arms which hits the enemy multiple times. Wallbounces at the end.
  • DP + 2 Atk – Blodia Vulcan: He quickly jumps to the background, firing multiple shots to the whole ground with his Blodia. Can hit OTG.
  • D, D + 2 Atk – Blodia Bit Blaster: A small drone appears above his head for 20 seconds. While you're still in this mode...
    • (Air OK) QCF + S – the drone fires a shot forward (the size is comparable to a Hadoken, but it can do considerable damage).

    • (Air OK) DP + S – The drone fires a shot diagonally upward.

    • (Air OK) QCB + S – the drone fires a shot diagonally downward. Can hit OTG.
  • (Level 3) HCB + 2 Atk – Break Shaft: He does a short dashing grab. Has invulnerable startup. If it connects, then he throws the enemy upward, then he does multiple upward punches, before he does the Great Cyclone.
    • Taken from Blodia II's Final Attack from Tech Romancer, which works a bit differently there (Blodia stabs the enemy with its arm blade, then it lifts them over its head, then he fires multiple shots from his vulcan arm, then it throws them up and finally it does a Full Metal Charge.)
